This Veterans Day, experience a special look at a lesser-known aspect of WWII through the lens of photographer Lawrence Levy, as featured in a book by his daughter, acclaimed photographer, author, and professor Janice Levy.

Soldiers & Sailors’ curator Michael Kraus and Janice Levy will discuss the journey of preserving and presenting these remarkable images in her book, Over the Hump: My Father's WWII Photographs. A professional photographer and professor, her work has been exhibited in museums and galleries the world over. Levy's award-winning photographs and writings have been published in various textbooks, magazines, and online.
Following the speaking engagment we will “Light Up the Hill”
